Hunger Action Month

Hunger Action Month is a nationwide campaign held each September to raise awareness of hunger and food insecurity in the United States and inspire people to take action. The Feeding America network brings together food banks, volunteers, donors, and advocates to help ensure that neighbors have access to nutritious food and support.

The campaign encourages people to get involved in many ways, including volunteering, donating, organizing food drives, advocating for hunger-relief programs, and sharing information about hunger in their communities.
