National Shake Month

National Shake Month celebrates delicious milkshakes throughout September. The month-long observance was started by Johnny Rockets in 2009 as a way to celebrate the frozen treat, and invites shake fans to enjoy the many varieties available at restaurants or made at home. Johnny Rockets has marked the occasion with special shake-focused promotions in the past. In 2019, for example, the chain introduced its Extreme Candy Explosion Shake and held “Shake Time” happy hours at participating locations, though those promotions were limited to that year. Business Wire reported on the 2019 celebration.

Celebrate by enjoying a milkshake from Johnny Rockets or another restaurant, or make one at home. Use the month as an opportunity to try different kinds of milkshakes, from familiar favorites to flavors you have not tasted before.
