When at work, it is a day to finish up things before the end of the year, in order to be organized and ready for a fresh start in the new year. When at home, it is a day to turn off interrupting devices, in order to spend time with family members or focus on one's own projects.

How to Observe No Interruptions Day

Celebrate the day by minimizing interruptions at both work and at home. At work, let your coworkers know that it is No Interruptions Day and that you will be spending the day in quiet focus. Try to tie up any loose ends from the year, and organize your desk, tools, or other supplies for the upcoming year. When you are at home, turn off your phone and other distractions and focus on getting work done or spending time with your family.
