Unlucky Day
Maybe you've had a lucky year, but that doesn't mean today will be lucky. Not everyone can be lucky all the time—somebody has to have an unlucky day. This happens for a lot of people today because it's Unlucky Day. Some embrace the bad luck while remaining hopeful for the year ahead. Others attempt to stop the bad luck in its tracks, refusing to allow their year to end on a sour note.
How to Observe Unlucky Day
How does one celebrate such an unlucky day? Here are a few ideas:
- Get all your bad luck out today—tomorrow is a new year!
- Fight against bad luck today. Take out your rabbit's foot and keep a watchful eye for items that bring bad luck: black cats, cracked mirrors, cracks on the ground, and ladders.
- Think about all the kinds of luck you've had over the past year. Set some resolutions for the upcoming year in an effort to stave off bad luck.
- Watch a film about luck.
