National Set a Good Example Day

National Set a Good Example Day, created by the Way to Happiness International, encourages people to set good examples that inspire others and celebrates those who are setting good examples. The concept for the day comes from "Set a Good Example," the sixth precept in The Way to Happiness, "a non-religious moral guide based on common sense" published by L. Ron Hubbard in 1981. The book includes 21 precepts or principles to guide people to a better quality of life and "to help arrest the current moral decline in society and restore integrity and trust to humankind."
