British Pie Week

British Pie Week celebrates pies in all their delicious variety, from hearty savoury fillings to sweet treats beneath golden pastry. The week lasts seven days, beginning on the first Monday in March.

Jus-Rol launched British Pie Week in 2007 as a marketing campaign encouraging people to make their favourite pies at home and share their creations. Today, the occasion is an opportunity for home cooks, bakers, chefs, and pie enthusiasts to enjoy classic recipes, experiment with new fillings, and appreciate the many ways pastry can be used. Jus-Rol describes it as a week dedicated to Britain’s favourite dish, with recipes ranging from game and fish pies to vegetable-filled creations and sweet favourites.

How to Observe British Pie Week

Celebrate by baking or buying a pie and trying a filling you have not had before. Choose between a savoury meal pie and a sweet dessert pie, or make both during the week.
