National Ranch Water Day celebrates Ranch Water, a cocktail made with tequila, lime, and sparkling or soda water. Often described as Texas’ version of a skinny margarita and the “Unofficial Cocktail of West Texas,” Ranch Water is a simple, refreshing drink associated with the region.

The holiday was created in February 2021 by RANCH2O Spirits, which registered it with the National Day Archives. It takes place annually on April 11.
