National Tortilla Day

National Tortilla Day, observed annually on June 16, celebrates corn, flour, and wheat tortillas. Tortillas can be enjoyed at breakfast, lunch, dinner, cookouts, parties, or sporting events, making the day an easy one to share with family and friends. The holiday was created by Tortilleria Cuauhtémoc in 2022. The small family tortilla factory opened on June 16, 2002, and proposed the observance while celebrating its 20th year, with the goal of celebrating with the community and customers who had supported it.
