National Peach Ice Cream Day

Taking place during National Ice Cream Month, National Peach Ice Cream Day celebrates peach ice cream! Vanilla and chocolate are two of the most popular ice cream flavors, but today they have nothing on peach ice cream, which people celebrate by eating at ice cream parlors, picking up from the store, and making at home. The holiday has been celebrated since at least 2001.

How to Observe National Peach Ice Cream Day

• Make homemade peach ice cream.
• Have some peach ice cream at an ice cream parlor. Check to see if any ice cream parlors near you have any specials in honor of the day.
• Pick up some peach ice cream from a store. Enjoy it in a cone or a dish, or as part of a sundae or ice cream soda.
• Top peach or vanilla ice cream with fresh peaches, canned peaches, grilled peach slices, peach preserves, or another peach topping.
• Check for any public National Peach Ice Cream Day events.
