child_friendly National Chucky, the Notorious Killer Doll Day

Today is dedicated to Chucky, the antagonist and serial killer doll from the Child's Play film series. The "Good Guy" doll is inhabited by serial killer Charles Lee Ray, who transferred his soul to the doll with voodoo as his body lay mortally wounded. Director Tom Holland based the doll off of the My Buddy doll, and the character is played by Brad Dourif. As of 2017 there have been seven films in the series, starting with the eponymously titled film in 1988.
