Teddy Day

Teddy Day is the fourth day of Valentine's Week, a week which leads up to and culminates with Valentine's Day. On the day, couples give each other teddy bears as a symbol of their love. Although Teddy Day is geared towards couples, anyone can participate. Friends can exchange teddy bears with each other, and teddy bears can be given to children.

How to Observe Teddy Day

Celebrate the day by giving your significant other a teddy bear! You could pick one up at a nearby store, make one at Build-A-Bear, or—if you are feeling extra ambitious and really want to show your love—sew one. Giving a "couple teddy," where two teddy bears are joined together, may be appropriate today. Teddies can also be given to friends, children, and relatives.
